Customer Success Driving B2B Growth

Enterprise software expert Sherrod Patching is driving B2B growth by changing the way people think about marketing. She is creating opportunities for companies to find their ideal customers through specialized success teams she built at Leadspace across the U.S. and EMEA markets.

As vice president of customer success for a leading marketing software company, she helps clients understand and engage their customers. Patching has transformed Leadspace’s customer success vision, strategy, and processes, positioning the company for data-driven customer service and satisfaction management to accelerate its mid-stage growth.

Leadspace is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform used for lead generation. Their 120-plus customers include leading B2B companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe and RingCentral. The platform helps marketers drive more pipeline by finding new leads, updating existing leads for accuracy and scoring them to make marketing campaigns more effective.

Patching directs the company’s focus on customer business objectives, enabling them to maximum their ROI through the demand generation and marketing platform. As part of this, she’s instituted executive business reviews to track progress, launched a customer advocacy program, and reshaped the onboarding process to improve customer satisfaction and experience.

Sherrod has 15 years of experience in customer success strategy, having built multinational teams and successful programs from the ground up. Her colleagues say she is a master at devising and implementing vision and strategy in dynamic times of change for new business ventures. They say she builds alliances and executes her vision “with a roll-up-her-sleeves style that is contagious, invigorating and highly motivating to everyone.” She lives by the words “never quit.”

Patching brings a wide range of tech industry experience to Leadspace.  Earlier, she led the enterprise customer success team at BrightEdge Technologies, playing a critical role in shaping how the team engaged with customers to drive business success and ROI. As the North American vice president for Intent HQ, she was the lead technology evangelist for its U.S. debut, delivering revenue growth through direct sales, strategic alliances and partnerships. Before then, as the London-based director of Customer Success & Operations, she led the Intent HQ Beta roll out across 10 countries for Pepsi.

In addition to her professional acumen and hands-on innovative leadership, she is also an active pro bono consultant, working with Convoy of Hope and the San Francisco-based agency St. Anthony’s Foundation.
